Welcome to Junebug Farms, a successful, well-known animal shelter in upstate New York, where every day brings something new—love, stress, heartbreak, warmth—and not just from the animals.
Since inheriting Junebug Farms from her grandmother, Jessica Barstow’s life revolves around it, and she has no time or energy for much else. Not hobbies. Not fun. Not love—certainly not lo

My first lesfic review of 2017! Right now, I'm mentally blaring those reggae horns heard in a million early 2000's songs.
Okay. I'm stressed. Is this the LAST BOOK of the 'Puppy Love' Series? Because I'm preeeetttyyyyy sure Georgia Beers said that she'd write these books forever and ever (in my dreams). I can't get enough of these. And I believe in #justiceforAnna. A book about her finding love, too, please!
Even though 'Run to You' is by far the reigning queen of the bunch, this was a great addi

3.5 stars.
This is a Georgia Beers romance. Well written, fluffy romance with likable characters. Fluffy in a good way.
Strange though, usually these types of romances are right up my alley - but this time the book just didn't grab me right away. It was ho hum. I was expecting better from Beers. I think maybe a few too many times when it was mentioned that Jessica & Sydney were the most beautiful women ever. As I write this I realized the we always know exactly what each of the MCs were wearin

So, Georgia Beers recently published “Dare to Stay”, the third of the Puppy Love trilogy. I liked the first one very much, and REALLY loved the second one. The problem is that reviews are beginning to appear for the new book, but the audiobook won’t be out for six months or so.
But hey - this is the 21st century, and so I enthusiastically embarked on a grand adventure! I bought a well-reviewed text-to-voice IOS program (VoiceDream), and even bought the extra (better?) voices that Amazon was elimi

Jessica had been running Junebug farms since inheriting it from her Grandmother, she loves her job and it comes first in her life. When she meets the news reporter that is covering the Junebug telethon she feels flustered and a little on edge. Sydney has been climbing the news-reporting ladder since she left college. She has a new job, in a new city and a telethon to cover but she never expected for sparks to fly with Jessica, the CEO of Junebug especially when Jessica clearly doesn’t like her.

Sweet, cute and very fluffy.
Georgia Beers is an absolute gem when it comes to writing romance novels and this final book of the Puppy Love Romances series is no different. So i'm just going to keep this review short. If you're in the mood to read some serious fluff with very little angst this is the book for you.
I have to admit though I missed the angst from book two which is my favorite in the series and is the only reason this doesn't get 5*.

..And everything started with 'Too close to touch', couple of years ago. I was instantly hooked on Georgia Beers' books. This one is no less amazing either. She, along with just a few others (Melissa Brayden, Harper Bliss..) is able to write books that are spot on to my taste. Her characters are likable, real, mature, with real-life problems. If I would have to use just one word to describe her plot, dialogues and characters, it would be effortlessness; this book, as many previous ones of Geo..more

Dare to Stay by Georgia Beers is not only the last book in her Puppy Love series, it’s also the best. It captured my heart and managed to do what I didn’t think was possible by tying Too Close to Touch as my favourite book by this author.

Book 2 is still my favorite. I think no one can beat Cath and Emily. Well, more of Emily.
I don't really know what's wrong with Sydney but she's a downer especially on the first part of the book. Thank God she got a good friend (Laura) to guide her always. She's too uptight and frustrating but I'll give her credit for being like that she redeemed herself at the end.
Jessica, she's a closet softie. She's intimidating and scary but she got a good side. She's not big on changes but with Sydney ther

Dare to Stay is a pretty typical lesbian romance book about a CEO of an animal shelter who has her roots firmly planted in a town getting together with a sexy TV anchor who likes to move around. As with all of the books I've read by Beers', there are a handful of happy fluffy scenes sprinkled throughout the book that made me smile. Furthermore, there are also pleasant perspective switches that allow the reader to see what multiple characters are thinking or feeling throughout the story. If you r..more

I'm not a huge fan of this author, but i did really enjoy this audiobook. it was the perfect angst free 'happy for now', and the narrator is one of my favorites.
The third book of the Puppy Love Romances located in the Junebug Farms, as the two others did, has given me a very good time. Georgia has the hability of create characters and atmospheres in her books that I find pretty interesting. Her writing is easy to read, there are not a lot of subplot, only the necessary to complete the main plot, so do not miss the thread of the main subject. I have enjoyed it very much and I recomend it if you want to read a sweet romance.
As usual with a Georgia Beers novel I loved the characters and liked the story. We always know how these books are going to end, but it's how we get there that make them interesting.
And now we wait for her next novel. Again. :)

Love this series. The ladies of Junebug Farms are very very appealing and sexy. I want to volunteer and hand out with the animals, and beautiful women of Junebug!

Book Three in the Junebug Farms series and we finally see Jessica find love. Running the animal shelter is more than a full time job, it’s a full time life, leaving little room for anything else. Add in the stress of the annual fundraising telethon and Jessica is at capacity. What she really doesn’t need is a change to the TV anchor coming in with new ideas and new pressures.
Sydney doesn’t want to be running the Telethon any more than Jessica wants her. This isn’t where she wants to be or what s

I still think #2 is better, but I like #3 a lot. Specially because Jessica has cats! *-* And in my head Jessica and Sydney are hooooot.
But I'm very confused about Sydney's job. How can she always be at happy hours and have dinners? Isn't she the forecast girl? I mean, is not it live at night everyday? Did I miss something?
Georgia Beers is one of my favorite writers and I loved this series, but with this one I thought the ending was cut a bit short.

This is a warm story that brings two people together when they least expect it. They did not start start out well but when they must work together on an almost daily basis, things change and sparks continue to fly between them. As in the other installments, the characters are hot, sexy, strong but also adorable. I loved the way how the author shows us that pets brings light to everybody's life, how they can be healing for body and soul. I love this strong passion for pets. There are

I like and enjoy reading previous 2 books from this series, even in ' Run to You ' mention Anna a little bit, I still enjoy it because I like Emily character more to keep me read it. but this one make me want to skip all Anna scene and there is no point to finish it because HER scene is too much for my liking. Too bad I dislike Sydney too.. argh.. I really can't make myself to finish it. it's too annoying and ruining my mood.

3.5★s Another addition to the Junebug Farms series. I didn't like this one nearly as much as the second in the series. In this book, Jessica Barstow meets TV personality, Sydney Taylor. Sydney is all about herself and her career and doesn't have time for anyone else. I did not care for the Sydney character at all and, therefore, didn't have any buyin to the love story.

According to the author, this is the final book of a trilogy. I did not read the other two books but DARE TO STAY stands alone very well. It's a well crafted, reasonably believable romance that is smooth as silk from the first word to the last. In upstate New York, Jessica Barstow manages an animal shelter called Junebug Farms, which she inherited from her grandmother, and has one character flaw: she works herself to death and has almost no social life. Sydney Taylor, a TV reporter, is new in to..more

The third installment of the Junebug Farms series is a really charming listen, if surprisingly low-key. Jessica turns out to be a lot less assured and stand-offish than in earlier installments. And new arrival Sidney is suitably lacking in self-awareness for on-screen TV talent. There are few sharp corners or edges to this. It’s a feel-good romance and why not! There’s plenty room for cozy love, when it’s as well written as this.
Have read books 2 and 3 of this Puppy Love romance within the last 3 days. (Read book 1 some time ago.) Dogs + romance + Georgia Beers = sweet wonderful books. Must say my favourite book is #2 Run to You. But all 3 books are heart-warming and lovely reads. Highly recommended.

'Here's to it'
That might be my favourite quote from this whole series. Already used it myself!
I always love Georgia Beers' writing style, it flows from the pages, it sucks me into the book's world and I never want to leave.
I've known these characters for a while now and it was great to explore the world from Jessica's viewpoint this time. I thought she was the most balanced of them all. I loved her!
I'll definitely keep reading!

Really enjoyed reading this. I thought Jessica was extremely cute throughout this. Loved the blushing. I felt a little pity for Anna, that went away pretty quickly though. All in all, loved this story :)
*Update, second read through of this, I felt no pity for Anna at all. And just found her very annoying, lol
Georgia Beers books may be a touch predictable. But they're like a warm blanket and hot cup of cocoa on a cold day - always exactly what you need.
Dare to Stay is the final book in the Puppy Love Series by Ann McMan. In this finale, the reader finally gets to learn more about Jessica Barstow, the owner of Junebug Farms. Jessica is very stubborn and does not respond well to change, while Sydney Taylor, the new television reporter assigned to host the shelter's televised fundraiser, wants nothing more than change. Jessica's stubborn attitude was very annoying to me, as she was way too young to be so set in her ways, and Sydney's snarky attit..more

This was the last of the Puppy Love Romances. I previously read Run to You #2 which I enjoyed.
This was very good, the CEO of Junebug Animal Shelter is the main character. The story flows well, previous characters in the series are present as well. The only reason I didn't give it five stars (actually I gave it 4.5 stars) is that the ending was very abrupt. I enjoy knowing what happened to their story, this book had a 'let's go to bed' ending after weeks apart. I really like Georgia Beers and hav

4.5 stars. I really liked this one, I think this book was the best in the Puppy Love series. This also can stand alone, so you don't necessarily need to read the first two. The characters are both interesting, complicated, and explored fully. You can sense the pull between the two and it makes for an interesting and compelling story. I'd definitely recommend this book.
'Lovely'
Well written and performed (Audible.com.) Engaging with just the right dose of angst. Many moments of laughing out loud and guffawing at the dialog and the serendipitous happenings. Just a delightful story. Listen or read. You will like.
